Open the planner, put a few dinners into your week, and the shopping list builds itself. Not sure where to start? Dinners under 20 minutes and budget dinners are good places, or start from what’s in the fridge.
Questions
Is Mealime really gone?
Yes. Mealime shut down on 21 October 2026. Its recipes moved to Meals Hub inside Albertsons’ US supermarket apps, and saved meal plans and shopping lists weren’t carried over.
Can I bring my Mealime recipes across?
Not automatically: Mealime never had an export. Solo Supper already has 456 dinners, and most of Mealime’s staples have a version here written for one.
Is Solo Supper free?
Every recipe, the planner and the shopping list are free, and you don’t need an account to use them. Pro, £2.49 a month, picks whole weeks of dinners that share their packs so nothing’s left to go off.
Can I cook for two sometimes?
Yes. Every recipe is written for one and scales up with a tap when someone joins you, and the shopping list adds it all up.
